

Linda Guyton Jackson- Kirby was born the oldest child of the late Harold T. Guyton and Teola Johnson, in San Anto¬nio, Texas. She accepted Christ at an early age while belonging to Rising Star Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. I.W. Robertson, she later joined Grant Chapel A.M.E., while also being a Daughter of Deborah Grand Chapter O.E.S. She worked and later retired after 26 years of service in the department of license and registration for the State of Texas. Linda lived her life through the service of others. She received her education through Austin Public schools with numerous degrees.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, son Jonathan L. Guyton, and her sister Tamatha L. Guyton.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Ray Kirby; four children, Edward A. Clark (Veronica), Teola L.L. Guyton Durham- Bryant, LeEsther D. Guyton and Derrick L. Richardson (Melinda); grandchildren, Orinthian Sorrells, Jae’Kay Kapell- Malidore, Korianna Higdon, Dee’asia Richardson, Jailen Richardson, Ja¬kobe Richardson, Jhmad Bryant, Aaliyah Horne- Turner and Kyasha Horne; five brothers, Den. Harold T. Guyton (Lori), Milton G. Guyton, Darrell Johnson (Shelia), Wallace R. Johnson (Tiffanie) and Jerry C. Guyton; six sisters, Virginia Guyton- Hemphill (John), Cynthia Y. Folwer, Pastor Sharon Alexander (Pastor Robert), Vernett Kinchion (Sammie) and Cynthia Bradford (Clyde); six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
