Lonnie was born in Hillsboro, TX to the late Lonnie Lee Wooten Jr. and Edith Wooten. He was the youngest of four children. Lonnie married Joyce L. Williams on December 15, 1975 in Georgetown, TX and they had two children.
Lonnie was a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force and served our country for 9 years. He had a dedicated career with Austin Energy as an Electrician 3 for 20 years. He was a proud family man that doted on his children and grandchildren. He was lovingly called Pawpeesi by his grandchildren and enjoyed gardening, cooking and researching history and religion.
Lonnie is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Wooten, and is survived by his son and daughter-in law Ronnie and Chanti Wooten, son Ryan Wooten and 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and a sister Ronnie Neagle.
