Lori Ann Glass Wolverton was born in Austin, Texas on July 31, 1964. She met her husband Greg Wolverton in Pflugerville, Texas in high school. Greg and Lori were married on November 24, 1986 in Austin and were married for 34 years until her death at home on September 1, 2020.
Her early career began with Texas Association of Realtors as an administrative assistant to her only boss Tommy Townsend, a leader in community politics. Lori’s career ended at Texas Trial Lawyers Association. She worked alongside Tommy with Texas legislators and special interest groups at the Texas state capital to move important legislative items through the senate. Lori loved her poodles, Baby and Summer, and going vacationing in the mountains of Colorado motorcycling with Greg.
Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Elaine Hayse, and Aunt Judy. She is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, Greg Wolverton; her father, Clifton Harris Glass; and many siblings including her sisters, Dana Rainey, Rene Cabello; and brothers, Danny Glass and James Brink.
