On September 26, 2015 our beloved grandmother, Rhoda Luberta Hart, also known and Noney, Bertie, or Lou, went to be with our Heavenly Father at the age of 105. She was born on September 18, 1910 to David and Sarah Walls in Big Fork, Arkansas.
Lou married George Hart on March 26, 1928 in Octavia, Arkansas at the young age of 18 years old. Together they raised two children, Betty Lou and George Wilburn.
Lou is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; nine siblings; and her children, Betty Lou Cox and George Wilburn Hart. She leaves to cherish her memory, her wonderful cooking and sweet disposition, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
Lou’s family will greet guests at a visitation to be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Services to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
