He served his country in the Army during WWII in 1945. He is survived by by his beloved wife, Elvira Rubio of Round Rock; his stepdaughter, Nydia Ruiz & husband Joe of Georgetown; 2 granddaughters & their husbands also of Georgetown, Veronica & Joe Padilla, Valerie & Robert Barber; 3 great-grandchildren that he adored, Isabella, Gabriel, & Viviana. He is also survived by his 2 brothers, Mack Rubio & wife Janie of Round Rock, Lorenzo Rubio & wife Manuela of Hutto, and 1 sister, Paula Bell of Chicago; and 13 nieces & nephews.
Visitation & Rosary Tuesday 12-26 from 6-8pm at Cook-Walden in Pflugerville. Funeral mass Wednesday 12-27 at 10 am at St Williams Catholic Church with internment to follow at Capital Memorial.
