Margaret, 70, of Hutto, formerly of Austin, TX, completed her life on earth and went into the loving arms of our heavenly father on Monday, April 18th in her home, after battling several medical issues.
Margaret was born in Pennsylvania to Robert Lee Collins and Elizabeth Grace McVicker, both of whom preceded her in death. She lived her whole live in Austin until retiring to Hutto with her husband of over twenty years, James R. “Moose” Bowen, who also preceded her in death.
She was a loving mother, wife, amazing grandmother, and a friend to all in need.
She worked most of her life dispatching from Towing Services, Pflugerville, PD, until starting her own company “Moose Transport” in 1998 with the love of her life, Moose. They retired in 2004, and she then turned her love, time and attention to her spoiling her grandkids James and LeAnn. They were her greatest joy in life.
She had a love of all living things. She treated her cats like kings. She enjoyed family time the most, road trips, shopping, movies, family dinners. She also loved a good steak.
She will greatly missed by those who loved her, each and every day, always and forever. She had the most amazing collection of angels - now she is one.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Dixie Wheeler Green, son-in-law Ben E. Green, grandkids Leann Marie Green and James Louis Green, all of Hutto, TX, and her brother Jim Collins, wife Pam of Rockport, TX, their sons Chris and Jimmy, and their grandchildren.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cookwaldencapitalparks.com for the Bowen family.
