

Born on January 12, 1948 in Georgetown, Texas, Margaret was the daughter of Eleno and Jovita Garza. She was a loving, strong, nurturing, generous, funny, and compassionate person. She loved to cook, eat popcorn and animal crackers, play bingo and lotto, listen to music, dance and sing. She would always call her children and grandchildren to sing Happy Birthday to them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eli Villalpando Sr., daughter Annette Moreno, parents Eleno and Jovita Garza, two brothers Leonard Garza Jr. and Ralph Garza, sister Frances Zertuzhe, and son-in-laws, Arnold Ojeda Sr. and Martin Ybarra.
She is survived by her children Joyce Rodriguez and son-in-law Daniel Rodriguez Jr. of McDade, Texas; Annie (Nena) Ojeda of Austin, Texas; Roxanne Agiorgousis and son-in-law Angelo Agiorgousis of Billerica, Massachusetts; Paul Alvarado and daughter-in-law Jeannie Alvarado of Buda, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Andrea Rodriguez of Fort Worth, Texas; Mary Ramirez of Austin, Texas; Sally Caldaron (Husband Joe) of Austin, Texas; Carmen Garza Perez (Husband Ernest) of Martindale, Texas; and Debra Garza (Manuel) of Austin, Texas.
We would like to give a special thanks to the Freeman family (Charlie Mae) for her extraordinary love and devotion shown in her care for her best friend, to her other best friend Marina Alvarado who would always call and check on her and another close friend Max Zepeda, also to Dr. Jonathan Sheinberg, the VA, the Keys and Three Oaks Hospice for their tender love and care for our Mother.
