María Del Socorro Riojas Castro fallecio de 61 años, el Viernes 20 de Octubre del 2023. Marchandose pacificamente. Fue una madre y abuela amorosa. Crio a sus nietos a quien amó mucho. A lo largo de su vida, había padecido muchas afecciones médicas. Fue paciente de hemodiálisis durante casi 13 años. Luchó una larga batalla y lo hizo por su familia. Hoy honramos la vida de nuestra madre. Fue realmente una mujer increíble y la persona más amable y amorosa del mundo. Dedicó su vida a la familia y se aseguró de apoyarnos en todo lo que hiciéramos y de que siempre nos sintieramos amadas.

Nos sentimos honradas y privilegiadas de haber sido tus hijas. Siempre nos amaste incondicionalmente y fuiste la mejor madre que cualquiera podría desear. Te extrañaremos mucho Mami Choquito. Siempre te llevaremos en el corazón.

A María le precede en la muerte su esposo Esteban Riojas. Le sobreviven sus dos hijas María Pérez (Juan Pérez), Jaquelina Núñez (Felipe Núñez) y 5 nietos, Stephen Núñez, Victoria Núñez, Melanie Pérez, Jarred Pérez, Bernard Pérez.

Maria Del Socorro Riojas Castro, 61, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 20,2023. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She helped raise her grandchildren and loved them dearly. Throughout her life she had phased many medical conditions. One of them being a dialysis patient for nearly 13yrs. She fought a long battle and did so for her family. Today we honor the life of our mother. She was truly an amazing woman who was the kindest and most loving person in the world. She dedicated her life to family and making sure we were supported in whatever we did and that we never felt anything other than love.

We feel honored and privileged to have been your daughter’s. You always loved us unconditionally and were the best mother anyone could wish for. We will miss you dearly Mami Choquito.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband Esteban Riojas. She is survived by her two daughters Maria Perez ( Juan Perez), Jaquelina Nunez (Felipe Nunez) and five grandchildren, Stephen Nunez, Victoria Nunez, Melanie Perez, Jarred Perez, Bernard Perez.

A visitation for Maria will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660, followed by a rosary from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
