Ngoan Nguyen, age 80, a resident of Austin, TX, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2016. She was surrounded by her sons and daughters. Ngoan was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She will be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and true love for people.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Huong Nguyen; father, Hoa Nguyen, mother Nu Nguyen; Brothers, Hoach and Tuyen Nguyen.
Ngoan is survived by her sons, Hai, Hien and Hoang; daughters, Thanh Mai and Ngoc Mai; brothers, Quynh, Dam and Khuynh; sisters, Nuong and Khuong.; 14 grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and close friends.
Public visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660, with a rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Holy Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church, 1107 E. Yager Lane, Austin, TX 78753. Burial will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
