Nick passed away on May 9, 2025 in Buda, Texas.
He was born in Huron, South Dakota to Leonard and Mathilda(Brockman) Endres.
He met and married his wife of 47 years Linda Salcher Endres in Houston, Texas.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and his Master degree from the University of Houston.
Nick became a Certified Public Accountant in 1979. He enjoyed working in Public Accounting with the many clients and co-workers. In 1987 he, along with Michael Easley, Steven Parkhill, and Melvin(Bo) Brackendorff, founded the Houston Certified Public Accounting firm now known as EEPB.
He worked in Houston until his retirement. He and Linda then moved to Galveston, Texas and recently to Buda, Texas.
Nick is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Kenneth and Thomas Endres; sisters, Mary Hertach, Donna, Sharon, Kay and Judith Endres; brothers-in-law, Gerald Hertach and Dale Henning.
Survivors include his brother Richard(Rosemary) Endres; sisters, Sue Henning, and Jeanne(Jim) DeLano. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Mary Endres and Cindy (Kenneth) Ture. He is, also, survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Nick’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Coastal Conservation Association Texas.
A family graveside service will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home and Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas. A Memorial Service will be held in Houston, Texas as at a later date.
