There are no words to express my deepest sympathy to Mallory, Dan and Kurt. 
Your mom was exceptional at many things, the most important was being your mom and  to my luck… my best friend. 
You have so very much to be proud of your mother. 
She was extremely independent and was truly an inspiration to me. Her dedication to you guys was unwavering. She’d do anything for you,  no questions asked, she would do for you. 
Pat was a doer, meaning she would try to do everything by herself before asking for help. I absolutely admired  that quality about her. Pat  reveled  at completing a task that should have been done by a few people. (At least one with some experience!)  Pat held a lot of devotion to her family, including her Mom and Dad, of whom she took care of during difficult times in their lives until their passing. I hope I’ve learned how to be 1/2 the person Pat (Girlie) was… the greatest parts! 
She will greatly missed forever by anyone who knew her well. There will never be another Pat, not sure anyone could fill her shoes or even walk a mile in them.
