She was born on July 19, 1926, in Bac Lieu, Vietnam. She married her husband, Thanh Tran and together they built a life centered on family, faith, hard work, and courage.
Mrs. Phung Quach Tran was known for her kindness, generosity, and strength. As an immigrant, she spent many years supporting her family through the family business and later enjoyed life by spending time with friends, family, and her community. She especially loved visits from loved ones, trying new foods, and giving generously to others.
Over the course of a century, she endured tremendous hardship—living through the Vietnam War, escaping as a refugee, rebuilding her life as an immigrant, and later facing the challenges of limited mobility after a stroke.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband.
She is survived by her sons: Mau Tran, Hoang Tran, Khuol Tran, and Cuong Tran; daughters: Ten Tran-Chau, Em Tran-Ngo, Pearline Tran-Wong, and spouses of her children. She also leaves behind sixteen grandchildren, their spouses, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and many extended families, all of whom will cherish her memory.
The family finds comfort in knowing that their beloved mother and grandmother is reunited with her love and free from all suffering, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience.
