Priscilla was the beloved wife of the late Richard Lee Reser; loving mother of Debbie (Steve) Marques, Shari (Rick Allen) Lavick, Barbra (Allen) Borden, step-mother of Jeffrey Reser and Greg (Dawn) Reser; sister of the late Patricia Dowd; grandmother of Matthew (Daphne) Townzen, Amanda (Kyle) Van Buren, Steven (Rebecca) Durbin, Nicholas (Jana) Townzen, Morgan Gurley and Kassidy Borden; great-grandmother of Joshua Townzen, Liam Townzen, Jake Townzen, Trysten DeMarcus, and Waverly Durbin.
Priscilla met the love of her life, Richard Reser, in 1964 while working together at Walgreens Corporate in Chicago. They married soon thereafter, creating an instant family with children from their previous marriages, and soon added a new baby girl of their own. After many years living in the Chicago area, they ventured south to the warmth of Florida, and Priscilla fell in love with the beach. They eventually chose to give up the beaches for family and relocated to Texas in 1996.
Priscilla was a very hard-working, loyal, and dependable employee at every job she held. After Walgreen Corporate, she worked as a keypunch operator at Safety Kleen in Elgin IL for many years. There she often brought her daughters to work, encouraging curiosity and a sense of work ethic in the girls at an early age. At Chase Bank she was recognized for not missing a day of work in over a decade, and she finished her career at QuantumDigital after 15 years, again with perfect attendance. She loved her jobs and was dedicated to every employer.
Priscilla was a breast cancer survivor, 6 years clear. She had an incredibly kind heart, and she cared deeply for her family and friends. Priscilla loved flowers and birds, and she had a special love for all animals. Her pets and strays always came first. Priscilla supported several non-profit organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Foundation, Humane Society, Cancer Foundation, wildlife organizations and others.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, May 14th, 2pm at the Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 14501 N Interstate Hwy 35, in Pflugerville. In lieu of flowers she would love a donation to one of her favorites - your local SPCA Humane Society.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cookwaldencapitalparks.com for the Reser family.
