Richard Terry Snyder

Terry was born in Burbank, California on August 30, 1947. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1965.

He was married to Beverly Sue (Nelson) Snyder on May 5, 1991. Terry had a long career in the automotive industry and retired from Gardena Honda. Terry lived in Southern California from the time he was born until 2011 when he moved to Texas for retirement. He was very handy and had excellent woodworking skills. He loved amusement parks, especially Disneyland and his favorite rides were the roller coasters. He had a passion for trains and rock and roll music. He liked to relax by watching movies and Jeopardy was his favorite TV show. He followed current events closely and was reflective about history and past events. He enjoyed trying different beers, his current favorite being Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA. He was very involved in his children’s and grandchildren’s lives. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s performances and sporting events. His happiest times were those spent with his family.

Terry was survived by his wife, Sue Snyder; his children, Charlene Ross (David), Richard Snyder (Sophia Paniagua), Christopher Snyder (Dena Antoun) and Rhiannon Byrd (Clint); his grandchildren, Amanda (28), Melissa (28), Ashley (25), Chandler (23), Alyssa (22), Marley (19), Katrina (19), Graham (11) and Killian (11); his great grandchildren, Mason (5), Arabella (3) and Gianna (1) and his brother, Robert Snyder.
