Robert graduated from L. C. Anderson High School in 1969. He joined the United States Navy in 1970 and served his country for five years. He retired after 28 years of service from the State of Texas as an X-Ray Technician. Robert thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing golf with his friends, supporting the Dallas Cowboys, and fellowshipping with the brothers at the Church of the Living Water. He was a member of the Church of the Living Water at the time of his death.
Robert was proceeded in death by his father, Essex David Moore, Sr.; mother Clarissa Marie Cuerington Moore; brother Bruce Renard Moore; brother Essex David Moore Jr.; sister Barbara Arterberry Griffin; and sister Mary Moore.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Heather Moore; son Robert Louis Moore Jr.; two grandchildren, Robert Louis Moore III and Laila Moore; sisters Doris Hill, Ella Moore, and Terri Nesby. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2019 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Church of the Living Water in Round Rock, Texas followed by a graveside service at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery.
