He entered into military service at the age of 20 and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant of the Air Force. Always a hard worker, he didn’t stop there. Upon retiring from the Air Force, he began working for the United States Post Office and eventually retired from there as well.
He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Pflugerville and he attended for many years. He was a devoted believer in God and was blessed with a wonderful church family.
Bob, age 93, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years Rachel Pyle, their grandchildren; Lynda Pyle, Harmony Jorden and Eryn Jorden, and their great-grandchild Lorelei Spengler.
The visitation will begin at noon in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home on Saturday, August 26, 2017. The Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the memorial chapel also. Committal Services will be at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
