Ronell Crees Cyr, 76, was born on April 5, 1949, in Corpus Christi, Texas, and passed away on March 20, 2026. Ronell was a resident of Leander, Texas. After this introduction, Ronell will be remembered fondly as “Ro.”
Ro grew up in Austin, Texas, and graduated from McCallum High School in 1967, and she went on to nursing school at Austin Community College. Ro worked as a nurse at the Austin State School, where she retired.
In 1978, Ro met the love of her life, Edward “Ed” Cyr. It was there that they began a life together marked by love and travel.
Ro was actively involved in sewing and clothing design, baking, and she enjoyed planting and growing plants in her garden.
Ro leaves behind a legacy that her husband Eddie, daughter Stephanie, Grandson Zachary, family, and friends will treasure always.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on April 12, 2026, at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A Graveside Service will follow at 3:00 pm on April 12, 2026, at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
