Mr. Laird was born July 20, 1995 in Austin, Texas to Brian Laird and Aletha McLean.
He was in the first graduating Class of 2013 at Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock, Texas. He was a very independent man and a great pillar in his community. Shaquille’s life may seems too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His positive outlook and attitude brought so much joy to our family.
He enjoyed gaming, technology, and spending time with his family. He loved his job and had a bright future ahead of him.
He was preceded by his mother, Aletha McLean.
He is survived by his father, Brian Laird; brother Brian Laird Jr.; and sisters Kathryn Laird, Elizabeth Laird, Alyce Wyllie, Kanesha Mahon, and Demarris Laird.
Shaquille will be honored in a celebration of life 12:00 p.m., April 23, 2023 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35 Pflugerville, Texas.
