Steve Galindo was born on October 5, 1959 in Austin, Texas and was called home on October 21, 2022 in Round Rock, Texas to watch the Cowboys from Heaven. He was preceded in death by his mother Antonia Osbourne, step-dad Alfonso Chapa, and sisters Elizabeth and Patricia "Pat" (our beautiful Angels), who loved every minute they were together.
Steve is survived by his wife Jessica; sons Noel and his wife Miranda, Daniel and his wife Maria, Mark and his wife Diana; grandchildren Alexander, Steven Daniel III, Aubrey Noelle, Anthony, Ellie Rose, Isaiah, Jovie; brother Wilbert Chapa and sister Della Chapa; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Steve was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He has been with Jessica for over 46 years. They were married on March 26th. He loved all of his family and friends. If he didn't argue with you, he probably didn't like you. It was always in good fun. Steve loved joking around with his nephews and loved calling his beautiful nieces and cousins ugly.
As his family grew he became an extraordinary grandpa. He left behind a ton of wisdom to his grandkids. They returned his love and cherished their time together. We will miss him very much. The Cowboys lost the best fan they ever had.
A visitation for Steve will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas.
