

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Thomas Earl Ellison. Also preceded in death were her parents, Joseph and Bertha Weber and
brothers Daniel, Joseph, Harry and Bert.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Ablanedo (Armand) and Denise Ellison, one son, Thomas Ellison Jr (Penelope). Also surviving her are her most treasured grandchildren, Amanda Prinz (Jody), Charles Ablanedo (Mia), Ashley Mitzel, Lyndsey Townsend (Branson), Ian Ellison (Alicia) and Daniel Ellison and seven beautiful great-grandchildren, Taylor Prinz, Colton Prinz, Hunter Prinz, Ellison Ablanedo and Everett Ablanedo, Jaxon Taylor and Gavin Thompson.
Thelma served in the US Air Force where she met her husband Thomas while stationed in Germany.
Thelma was a member of the VFW Post 4676 and Ladies Auxiliary and Pup Tent 55 and Ladies Auxiliary (MOCA). She volunteered countless hours
visiting and donating her time to the VA. hospitals.
The family would like to extend a very special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Seton Medical Center Kyle.
There will be a private graveside ceremony at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio for family only. A celebration of Thelma's life will be held at a later time for all of her friends.
