Thelma graduated with a nursing degree from The University of Nueva Caceres in Naga, Philippines. Thelma worked as a registered nurse for nearly 45 years in Lake Charles, Louisiana, a few hospitals in the Central Texas area, and ended her career at St. David’s Georgetown Hospital. She was a devout member of St. William Catholic Church in Round Rock and had a passion for singing, dancing, gardening, cooking, football, basketball, and The Texas Longhorns. She cared about everyone she met and loved her family immensely.
She is survived by daughters, Joanna and Amanda Ryan, stepson, Jerry and his wife Nichole, stepson, Johnny and his wife, Lee Ann, stepdaughter, Donna Ryan Pfeffer and her husband, Klaus, grandchildren, Amber, Samantha, Emma, Wilhelm, Werner, and Koleton, and great-grandchildren, Vera, Damien, Jordan, Devin, Jay, and Dominic, and brothers, William Belmonte, Arthur Belmonte, and Lednicky (Bitoy) Belmonte.
