

Thomas (Tommy) Franklin Kramer, age 92, of Austin, peacefully transitioned from his earthly life to his spiritual life on April 27, 2016. He was born at home on the Old Kramer Farm in Austin, Texas to Robert John Kramer, Sr. and Selma (Mueller) Kramer.
Tommy served his country as a pilot in the Army Air Corps (now the United States Air Force) during World War II, and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant on February 21, 1946. He was a member of St Louis Catholic Church in Austin since its inception in 1952. He worked as a lithographer in the printing and publishing industry. Tommy worked for Hart Graphics (formerly the Steck Company) and retired after 40 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Kramer, Jr.; sister, Agnes Schoen; and grandson, Ritchie Krzywonski. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Gayle Cox and husband Bill of Temple, Texas; grandson, Scott Krzywonski and wife Irene of Harker Heights, Texas; great-grandaughter, Lauren Kryzwonski of Henderson, Texas; great-grandsons, Brandon and Michael Kryzwonski of Harker Heights, Texas; and great-great grandchildren, Connor and Paisley Kryzwonski of Harker Heights, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to thank all of the staff of Buckner Villa for their outstanding care and compassion of Tommy for the past six years. They would also like to thank Dr. Michael Pelligirini, and his caregivers at Buckner Villa, Rebecca, Angie, Corie, Miriam, and Vivian for their care and support of Tommy.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2016 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Austin. He will be laid to rest at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
Honoring Tommy as pallbearers will be Scott Krzywonski, John Brown, Robert Kramer III, John Hemenway, Michael Krzywonski, Bobby Reese, Barry Cox and Daniel Cox.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or Catholic Relief Services.
