Just saw this,, Tommy was our next door neighbor in Round Rock for several years. Always had fun tinkering with his old pick-up and my old cars. Tommy was a great neighbor and cat sitter. Later we often saw him at the Dell Diamond.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Zumwalt family at this very sad time.  I knew Thomas through a mutual friend from McCallum and we all hung out together and had some fun times together. He was so sweet and always put everyone feelings first

I went to school with Thomas from Brentwood, to Lamar and finally at McCallum. He was a kind and gentle soul always willing to help others.  He attended several of our class reunions.  I last talked to him at a Post Office as he was moving to Bertram, and we had a great conversation about the virtues of country life. Rest in peace Thomas for a job well done on this earth. Am so sorry to hear of Thomas' passing.  I knew Thomas, Johnnie and Freddie when we were together at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church during our young and teenage years. I knew Thomas while I was attending McCallumn High School.  We met from a mutual friend. He was the nicest and kindest person you could ever know!  Wish we could have stayed in contact all these years. Prayers for Thomas and his Family, as I know he will be Greatly missed.  May your Memories comfort you. God Bless!

I'm very glad to have known Thomas from junior high through high school....he also attended several class reunions for our McCallum 1963 class.  He seemed to enjoy visiting with his former classmates and viceversa.  He will be greatly missed by those in our class.

I am so sorry to hear this.  I met Thomas years ago when we both lived in Wells Branch.   He was my upstairs neighbor and the nicest guy.  He was always smiling.  I always enjoyed our visits and one day we discovered that our families knew each other from First Cumberland.

I met Thomas in July of 2015 at Sunday School at the Kingsland Community Church.  Our friendship began that very day.  Thomas was very dear to me and I will miss him so very much.  We talked often on the phone and in the last weeks of his life, I especially enjoyed visiting him in his home.  I always told him that inside that frail body beat the heart of a warrior, a warrior for Christ.  I offer my deepest sympathy to all of you, his family.  He loved you so much.  I am rejoicing that Thomas is now in heaven, fully restored, and in the company of our dear Savior Jesus Christ.

i am so sorry to hear of thomas' passing. my thoughts and prayers are with you'll. i didn't know thomas very well but enjoyed his company when we visited frank and johnnye. love aunt jeanine rackley holmquist.

The Sonshine from Thomas was a blessing to all who knew him. His bright smile and twinkling eyes simply lit up every conversation he was in. He will be dearly missed. 
We are deeply saddened at the news of his passing, but at the same time we rejoice that Thomas is with is Lord and Savior now, resting peacefully.
