Timothy David Bethune of Pflugerville, Texas passed away at the age of 23 on July 16, 2015 in Austin, Texas. He was born in Lubbock, Texas on December 3, 1991. Tim was a 2014 graduate from Hendrickson High School.
Tim was an active participant in the Special Olympics in bowling, track, and basketball and over the years brought home more than one gold medal. He was full of life and his smile was contagious. Among his many joys were NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys, camping, shopping, admiring Ford Mustangs, his dogs, and sharing time with his grandmother enjoying eating Blizzards.
Tim is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert F. Morris; uncle, James “Jim Bob” R. Morris; and great-grandmother, Virgie Tobias. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother and step-father, Carol and James Staton; grandmother, Loretta A. Morris; aunt, Cathy A. Morris; and many other extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home.
