

Tina attended Pittsburgh Public Schools, and in 1979 she graduated from Schenly High School in the Hill District. During her high school years, Tina was an exceptional student excelling in academics and sports. She was a participant in The Miss Black Teenage Pageant. She was also a student at the Frick Art Institute.
Following high school, Tina moved to Austin, Texas, where she furthered her education at Austin Community College. Tina went on to become a Surgical Technician at Brackenridge Hospital for 10 plus years. Tina dedicated her life to Jehovah God and symbolized it by water baptism on August 8, 1998 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was an optimistic and enthusiastic person. She always extended a helping hand to anyone in need. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and dancing as ways to relax and express herself. Tina was a loving, and a caring provider for many family and friends.
Tina leaves to cherish her memories her 2 daughters, Tiahara and Tamesha Ford, and son Lorne Fitch and daughter in law Jessica Washington- Fitch; 10 grandchildren, Tezariah Hazell, Elijah Ford, Trevon Black, Szare Green, Averie Alexander, Lamyre, Jaquarius, and Brielle Fitch, and Destini and Nyla Thomas; 6 siblings, Paul Roberts, Karen Roberts, Kenneth Roberts, Joel (Ingrid) Roberts, Valerie Roberts, and Blair (Yolanda) Roberts; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins that she adored.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Lynn Roberts, and brothers William and Roy Roberts.
Tina will be remembered as a loving and kind hearted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
