Wendy Lou (Warnemunde) Clark, of Cedar Park, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 24, 2020 while in the comfort of her home and surrounded by her family. She was 68 years of age.
Wendy was born in St. James, Minnesota to the late Wendell and Myrle Warnemunde. Their family moved to New Ulm, Minnesota a short time later, where she spent the remainder of her youth.
After completing high school in New Ulm, Wendy moved to the Norfolk, Virginia area. It was there that she met and married Jerry Clark, the love of her life, on June 6th, 1975. They later moved back to New Ulm and were blessed with three wonderful children. After twelve years there, the family moved to Austin, Texas and lived in the area for the remainder of her life.
A beautiful lady both inside and out, Wendy always had a positive attitude; her bubbly personality and smile would light up any room. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She honored God by singing in the church choir, and through special music. Wendy treasured time spent with her family and friends. She always had a great time playing Bunko with ladies from Church, and was known for making everyone laugh and for “being a hoot”.
Throughout her life, Wendy was bold in her faith. She never hesitated to tell others about Christ and what He had done in her life. Even through her recent health struggles, she continued to share Jesus with others.
In addition to her parents, Wendy was preceded in death by her sisters Janet and Joan, along with her brother Larry, all of Minnesota.
Wendy is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 44 years, Jerry Lynn Clark; daughter Melissa Jane (Clark) Horinka and husband, Craig; son Bradley Lynn and wife, Kim; son Paul Allen and wife, Deliesha; Grandchildren Charity, Clark, Parker, Maisie, Kelsey, Presley and Hudson, sister Jane Johnson and husband, Bob of Owatonna, Minnesota, and sister Sharon Lohmeyer of Round Rock, Texas.
