

Adriana Rozeboom, 77, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Adriana was born on November 29, 1937 in Ada, MI to John and Mary Vander Boon. Adriana attended nursing school in 1959 and was a nurse for 45 years in South Dakota, Iowa, and Arizona. She was united in marriage to Tuenis Rozeboom March 25, 1960. Adriana was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was well known for her empathy, compassion, and service to others in their time of need. Adriana’s love and talent of music and commitment to her Christian faith were an inspiration to all.
Adriana is survived by her loving family, including her three children: Marie Freeman (Ronald) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Glenn Rozeboom (Lori) of Marion, Iowa, and Laura Magoffie (Kurt Skultin) of Anthem, AZ; six grandchildren, Audrianne Timmer (Andrew), Garret Freeman, Grant Rozeboom (Leah), Lincoln Rozeboom, Erin Magoffie, and Jacob Magoffie, and one great-grandchild, Anton Jack Rozeboom; three brothers Orie Vander Boon (Laurena), John Vander Boon (Margaret), and Abe Vander Boon (Sandy); and five sisters, Pauline Groen, Lena Van Ravensway, Ann Vlastuin (Fred), Marie Rozeboom (Gerrit) and Cornelia Boon.
Adriana was preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Tuenis; her parents, John and Mary Vander Boon; and her three sisters, Sarah Key, Sybil Van Veldhuizen, and Johanna Vander Boon.
Military graveside services will be held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ Friday, February 6, 2015 at 9:00am. Memorial donations may be made to Operation Blessing International (http://www.ob.org/) in lieu of flowers.
