

89, passed quietly on February 12, 2012 surrounded by family. Alice was born July 8, 1922 in Olathe, CO and grew up in Los Angeles, CA before moving to Arizona where she made her home. Alice was proud of her service as a woman Marine (1943) which made her who she was. She loved to travel and was fortunate enough to travel all over the world. In addition to being an accomplished seamstress, a wonderful interior decorator and a gold medal Olympic senior golfer, she worked for several years as a secretary in the Arizona State Senate. Alice also lived in San Diego, CA for 10 years before returning to Arizona. She is survived by her two sons, Richard E. Hodgkins (Patricia) of Concord, CA and Gregg A. Hodgkins (Kris), two grandchildren, Samantha and Westley of Phoenix, AZ and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Alice will be laid to Rest with Military Honors at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
