Amy Bonhaus, born on September 11, 1973, passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 51 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was a woman full of fire—fun-loving, fiercely independent, and never afraid to live life on her own terms.
Amy had a bold spirit and a sharp sense of humor. She loved to have a good time, never missed a chance to dance, and had an energy that could light up a room. She made unforgettable memories with the people around her, often being the life of the party and the source of the story no one would forget.
She was also a complicated person—someone who didn’t always fit the mold of what people expected. Amy could be stubborn, blunt, and sometimes difficult. But she was real. And those who truly knew her appreciated her strength, her honesty, and the way she showed love in her own unique way.
Above all, she was a mother. Her son, Noah, was the center of her world, and she loved him in her own fierce and protective way. Through good times and hard ones, she remained his mom—imperfect but irreplaceable.
Amy faced her illness with strength and grit, refusing to let cancer define her. Her resilience in the face of pain was nothing short of remarkable.
She is survived by her son Noah; her brothers, Adam Brown and Doug Bonhaus; and her mother, Barbara Johnston. She also leaves behind many others who knew and loved her for the unforgettable person she was. She leaves behind stories, laughter, a bit of chaos, and love that won’t be forgotten.
