

Andrew was born on January 12, 1952, in Cottonwood, Arizona. Andrew attended Rose Linda Elementary school and later graduated from South Mountain High School in Phoenix, Arizona. During his younger years, Andrew’s hobbies included playing sports, such as football, and spending time customizing and cruising his vehicles, such as his 1966 Chevelle Super Sport. During this time Andrew also enjoyed spending time outdoors camping and fishing. Andrew was also a Mentor, Coach and a Scout Leader for children here in the valley.
Esther Rodriguez and Andrew Lucero met at the Riverside Ballroom at the age of 18. They later married at the age of 19, becoming Mr. and Mrs. Lucero. Andrew and Esther later became parents and raised three children together. Andrew and Esther Lucero remained married and celebrated their 50th year anniversary in February 2021.
Andrew began his career as a laborer in the construction industry. His career path eventually led him into joining the Union Local 408 for carpentry. Andrew spent the majority of his career supporting his family as a Master Journeyman Carpenter. After many years of hard work, Andrew eventually retired from Walgreen’s construction. Andrew enjoyed spending time with his family, creating memorable moments for his grandchildren, watching ASU Football, traveling to special destinations such as Ocean Beach, California and doing projects at his cabin in Heber, Arizona.
Andrew is survived by his wife Esther Lucero; his children Andrew Lucero Jr. (Yolanda Muñoz), Diana Lucero and Richard Lucero Sr. (Amanda Lucero); His grandchildren Alexis Lucero, Analia Lucero, Richard Lucero Jr., Zachary Lucero, Elissa Lucero, Ilayna Lucero, Vivana Lucero, Savanna Lucero, John Eric Aguirre Jr. and Lucia Lucero; His mother Juanita Taddei; His Siblings Sylvia Bojorquez, Armando Taddei, Patricia Garcia, Gilbert Taddei, Carolina Cavada and Fernando Taddei.
