Anna Marie Benjamin

Anna Maria Shore was born on December 22, 1920 to Chester J. Shore and Flossie A. Cooper in Iowa. She passed away on August 15, 2016 in Phoenix. Anna lived in San Jose, California for 47 years; she moved to Arizona three years ago to live with her daughter, Kathy. She was married to William F Benjamin for 27 years and together had five children, Linda Mansouri, William J. Benjamin, Bonnie Johnston, Kathy Jenkins, and David Benjamin. Anna Marie was a retired nurse and enjoyed traveling, photography, gardening, and canning. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Marjory Reynolds; and brothers, Howard and Joseph Shore. She is survived by her five children; son-in-laws, Michael Mansouri and John Johnston; daughter-in-law, Terri Benjamin; twelve grandchildren, Angela (Moe) Khorsandi, Laura (James) Meinert, Brian (Melanie) Johnston, Christopher (Lisa) Johnston, Alicia (Ron) Boyle, Sharon Rose, Jason Burke, Jonnathan Jenkins, Jenny Jenkins, David Benjamin Jr., Tara Benjamin, Nicholas Benjamin; fifteen grandchildren, Laleh, Sayeh, and Yasaman Khorsandi, Elliana and Katelyn Meinert, Samantha Bryne, Ashton and Jessica Johnston, Brittany, Christopher Jr., Bonnie, Shirley, and Jonnie Johnston, Sabrina Burke, Jordan Holmes; and three great-great grandchildren, Greyson Johnston, and Peyton and Alanah Byrne. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 719 N 27th Ave Phoenix, AZ.
