Anna Marie Hall

Anna Marie Hall, 80, passed away on June 11, 2021 after complications from cancer-related surgery. If you knew Anna or if you ever met her, you might be surprised to be reading her obituary; Anna took impeccable care of her body, mind, and spirit. A competitive bodybuilder at age 52, Anna later found expression as a Yoga practitioner and became an instructor. Anna taught at Glendale Community College and other private studios at age 79 and was only interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Born Anna Marie Harris in Mineola Texas on December 7, 1940, Anna was a young Mother to Lynne (deceased) and Odell, married twice, and divorced in 1976. Anna earned her Associates degree from phoenix college and retired from Honeywell after 30 years in the purchasing department.

Anna lived her life with intention and great exuberance. She opened and closed each day with journal entries to her heavenly father and by declaring positive affirmations. Though she may have been quiet in a group her presence was never missed; Anna brought a powerful elegance to life and is known for both her optimistic attitude and colorful attire.

Anna’s Memorial is 10:00AM this Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary [200 W Beardsley Rd - 85027]. A ceremony for burial will follow Tuesday Morning July 20, 2021 at 8:00AM. Messages of condolence are being received at Anna’s cell phone number.
