Ashley Denise Owen

29, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2015 after a brave fight with Cystic Fibrosis. Ashley was born on August 14, 1986 and is a beloved mother, daughter, and friend. She is remembered for her beautiful smile, her outgoing demeanor, and her incredible sense of humor. Ashley graduated from Shadow Mountain High School and Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Her father, David W. Owen, precedes her in death. Ashley is survived by her mother Patricia Kirkland Owen; her children Ryan David Nelson and Taylor Jayde Nelson; her brother Adam David Owen; and sister Kristy Kae Gallardo; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. The Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, both at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, in the Serenity Chapel, at 719 N. 27th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85009. Following the Funeral Service a Celebration of Life will take place at 1101 W. Ocotillo Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Ashley’s friends and family will be having a benefit concert on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 6:00 PM at Joe’s Grotto, 13825 N 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85032.
