Barbara June Elms

Barbara is survived by her brother Robert Currey, her children Robert Geisler (Partner in life Ed), Barbara Geisler, Lori Brown, Phyllis Verhaalen (Husband Terry) as well as seven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Barbara was born on April 11th 1929 in Glendale, Arizona to Laurel Keith Currey and Mary Barbara Alice Cotts. Barbara had a heart for people and spent her professional life as a caregiver. She was full of compassion for those she cared for and had unconditional love for those fortunate enough to be part of her family. Barbara also donated to many charitable organizations and made a positive impression on all those she met. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

A funeral is scheduled for June 1st, 2017 at Advantage Colonial with a graveside service to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Barbara’s life.
