Bette Stafford was born in Traverse City, Michigan on September 10, 1924 and passed away May 20, 2013. She is survived by her sisters, Gerry McKee her husband Keith McKee, and their children Susan, Alan and Debra (who is recently deceased), and Helen Ayers and her children, Nancy Ayers and Robert Ayers. Alan has a son, Derek and a daughter, Anna. Debra has a son, Benjamin. Bette is also survived by her stepchildren; stepson Jerry Stafford and his wife Patty, stepson Tom Stafford, and stepdaughter Mary Hoogerhyde. Her step son, Jerry Stafford, has the following children; Norma Jane, Jon, Sandra, Kelly (deceased), Kerri, Ruth and Geri Ann, as well as his stepchildren; Michele, Jeff, Kerri, Brian, Tammy, Jeffery, Grace and Connie. Mary Hoogerhyde has two children, William D. Bellaw and Babette Bellaw-Wilson. Bette had two great-grandchildren, Amanda and Brett, and also two great-great-grandchildren, Jordyn and Jason, who are all located in the Kingsley, Michigan area. There are numerous other grand and great-grandchildren that loved her also. Bette had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed by many.
