Bill K. Haggard of Phoenix , Arizona passed away on October 21, 2013, at the age of 88. Bill was born in Alluwe, Oklahoma on September 4, 1925. His family moved to phoenix in 1940, where he attended Phoenix Union High School. Bill proudly served in the U.s. Navy Submarine force in the South Pacific aboard the USS Paddle in World War II. After the war, Bill attended Phoenix College and Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo on the G.I Bill and returned to Phoenix to begin a career as an Air Conditioning contractor. Bill served as president for the Air Conditioning Contractor of Arizona, SMANCA, ASHRAE, and the Electric League of Arizona during his 50 year career in the Valley. Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marion; daughters Jeanette Campbell (Hal) of Chandler and Karen Krause (Tom )of Waddell; one brother , Pat (Jo)of Mesa and four grandchildren.
