

Billy Joe (Bill), of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on January 22, 1937, in Blytheville, Arkansas. Billy was the middle child of the late Martin Thomas Reagan and Safronia Margarita Reagan (nee Jackson).
At the age of 16, Bill enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.Because of his age he was kept stateside during the Korean War. After his time in the service, Bill married Elizabeth Jo Reagan (nee Smith). They were married for 66 years before her death in 2024. Bill built a successful paint contracting business that provided for his family. He loved thoroughbred horseracing and owned several horses over the years. When he would win big, he loved to take the family on trips. His favorite place to go was the LaJolla Beach and Tennis Club in LaJolla, California; Bill took great pride in his five children, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Even though he bragged that he had never changed a diaper, he loved spending time with his family.
Bill planted his roots firmly in Phoenix. After moving to Phoenix as a preteen and his time in the Marines, Bill married Liz and lived on the same property since purchasing it in 1960. He was an active member at Faith Assembly of God and will be remembered for his generosity, work ethic, love of God and his family.
Bill is survived by his children: Billy Joe Reagan, Jr (Marilyn), Karen Beth Wyatt, Thomas Clinton Reagan (Melissa), (Thomas Kastner); his seven grandchildren: Miles (Ashley), Britton (Janette), Kelsey (Josh), Adian (Laura), Addison, Ashton (MaKenna), and Acey; his eight great-grandchildren: Landon, Charlotte, Finn, Lincoln, Odin, Ollie, Benji, and Weston; and many more extended family members.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Elizabeth; children, Kenneth Woodrow Reagan and Christina Ann Kastner (Thomas); son-in-law Baron Wyatt (Karen); parents Thomas Martin Reagan and Safronia Margarita Reagan; and his siblings..
Services will take place on Saturday, February 7 at 10 AM at City Church Phoenix, 1441 West Glendale Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85021. Interment at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
