Returning to La Crosse, Brian attended Training School – part of the La Crosse State University – from Kindergarten through 9th grade. He then attended Central High School graduating with his classmates in 1953. He started college at University of Wisconsin, Madison until he joined the Army. After completing his Army service, Brian returned to Wisconsin to spend time at the family cottage in Chetek where he met the love of his life Jane Reinhold. Brian graduated and further continued his education at Thunderbird International School of Marketing in Glendale, AZ.
Following his graduation he was hired by Goodyear Aerospace of Litchfield Park, AZ. He was involved in the sale and service of radar and sonar equipment to friendly foreign governments and traveled much of the world in that pursuit. He remained at that job his entire career. He retired in the early 1990’s.
Brian and Jane raised their three children in their loving home in Glendale AZ. He accompanied his troop on many hikes into and across the Grand Canyon, on trips to Mexico to complete Skin Diving Certification, and yearly trips to Camp Geronimo in Payson AZ.
In retirement, Brian and Jane spent many happy years summering in Chetek at the family cottage and spending winters in their Glendale home.
