Carrol Ann Higgins, age 78, of Phoenix, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020 in Glendale, Arizona. She was born on April 22, 1942 to the late Henry Higgins and Doreen Patchett (previously Slack) in Detroit, Michigan. She attended school in both Detroit Michigan and Chicago Illinois. Carrol worked as an Executive Secretary for 20 years at Washington School District before joining Cox Communications. She enjoyed movies and television, in particular The Walking Dead. She also enjoyed Yorkshire Terriers and loved her current dog, Maggie, very much. Carrol is survived by her son James Higgins and sister Barbara Warwick. No services are planned at this time. Her remains will be interned at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carrol’s honor may be made to the Arizona Humane Society.
