Chuck was born in Dayton, Ohio, the sixth child out of twelve children, to Roy and Elsie Swart. At age 11 he moved with his family to Phoenix in 1944. He has mostly lived in the Valley of the Sun since that time. He died peacefully at Paradise Valley Senior Retreat.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents and 8 siblings.
He leaves his wife Wilma, 5 daughters (Kathy, Diane, Joy, Nila, Penny), 3 sisters (Elsie, Deloris, Georgeanna), 15 grandchildren, and 37 great grandchildren.
Chuck was a wholesale butcher for 25 years for Cudahy, Inc. (Bar S). After retirement, he became a certified caregiver with The Manor of Scottsdale.
He could fix anything and helped everyone!! He considered helping his ministry. If you asked him, he would say that his motto for life was God, family, and hard work, which he modeled splendidly.
He will live in our hearts forever!
