

Char as she liked to be called was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1932 and moved to Phoenix when she was 10 years old. She graduated from Phoenix Union High School at the age of 16. At the age of 17 she met and married Morton H. Bowman. They were married for 50 years until his death in 2000. Char married Tom LeMieux who pre-ceded her in death.
Char accomplished great things in her lifetime. At age 55 she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She went on to be the CEO of a Girl Scout Council in New Jersey and in Albequerque, New Mexico. Along with her husband Morton they developed the first ever canoeing program for the Girl Scouts. Char was an avid Diamondbacks fan and had been a regular season ticket holder. Char loved bowling, going to the casino, making jewelry, cross-stitching and above all spending time with her family.
Char is survived by her two cats Casey and Misty whom she loved dearly and will miss her terribly, her daughter Sheylyn D’Ambrosia (Rick) Stepson Jim LeMieux, step grandchildren Tom and Katrina LeMieux; Son, Tom Bowman (Janet), Daughter Sandra Kearney and two grandsons Sean and Seth Kearney as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Char was a beautiful person inside and out. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is resting safely in His presence. She was a very giving person who loved deeply and would do anything for her family. She will be missed by all those who loved and knew her.
