In 1947, she married Tang Mai Sam and started her family.
They had a daughter, Gayle, and a son, Wilson. In 1971, her husband passed away. In 1973, she immigrated to the U.S to join her daughter, Gayle, and her husband, Carl. She helped care for her children and the household. In 1976, her son's whole family also immigrated to the United States, uniting everybody. She raised all seven grandkids. The household was like a nursery, and she took care of everything in the house while her children were working.
She enjoyed gardening and shared Chinese vegetables with relatives and friends. She cooked delicious meals and dim sum to treat the family. She loved to knit and crochet all kinds of decorative items around the house. The whole family owned scarves, yarn hats, and socks that she made. She had great joy with her family and extended family.
She is survived by son Wilson Tang (Shur Hur), grandkids Sonny Tang, Anita Tang, & David Tang, daughter Gayle Yee, grandkids Herman Yee, Anna Yee (Ken Prechtel), Herbert Yee (Guislen), Harold Yee (Lisa), great grandkids Alex, Nicholas, Noah, Nathan, & Kevin.
