

Christopher Alan Trenberth, 52, of Tucson passed away to be with our Lord on September 6th, 2011. Son of Mary and Ray Trenberth of Phoenix, Chris was a native Arizonan born July 8th 1959 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix. He attended Madison #1 Elementary School and was a 1977 graduate of Camelback High School. Chris attended Phoenix Community College and Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff. Golf was an important part of his life; the highlight of a trip to England and Scotland with his parents was the opportunity to play the St. Andrews Golf Course. While in Flagstaff, he was introduced to a career in the golf industry working at the Fairfield Continental Country Club overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the greens. The career path was set as he pursued opportunities with other golf courses moving to Tucson in 1990 where he worked for the City of Tucson specializing in the upkeep of their various golf courses. Chris valued the friendship of his many friends and co-workers and will be remembered as a "true blue" friend to many. Though recent health issues restricted a lot of activity, the internet kept communication open to friends near and far. Chris is survived by his parents, Mary and Ray Trenberth, son Christopher William Trenberth, four legged buddy Spike and many close friends. A celebration of Life for Chris will be held Saturday, September 24th at 1:00 pm at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E Greenway Rd, a reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to The American Heart Association in Chris' memory.
