Cruzita Gomez, 71, went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2020. She had battled multiple sclerosis for most of her adult life. She was a 1967 graduate of Carl Hayden High School where she was a cheerleader in her senior year. She was also in the Copperstate Women's Softball League where she played third base, catcher and pitcher. Before her illness, she loved to dance and music was always her favorite pastime. She met Ralph M Gomez in 1966, and they were married in January 1970. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They have four children, Lisa (Heavey), Danielle (Harrel), Ralph D (Maggie) and Richard. She is also survived by her mother Juanita A Gonzales, brother Frank (Armie)
Maria Borkes (Wally) and Juanita Acosta (Brett) and 10 grandchildren. The family has been blessed by so many with thoughts and prayers and so appreciated.
Viewing will be at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Chapel located at 710 W. Bethany Home Rd, Phoenix and burial will follow at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 W. Beardsley Rd., Phoenix. Social Distancing is appreciated at both Grimshaw Chapel and Phoenix Memorial Park.
