

A beloved Son, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, Cousin and Friend. Darren left this world at the age of 54 after a long hard battle with cancer. He was born in Lynwood, CA on March 14, 1966 to Alvin Sanders and Louise Bohannon.
Darren is preceded in death by both his Parents and Grand Parents.
Darren attended Collin P. Kelly elementary, Roosevelt Jr. High and Lynwood High school in California. He continued his education at Phoenix Job Corp in 1988 where he earned his GED. He also attended gun school where he worked on handguns, he also attended Masonry school.
As a child Darren grew up in Compton, CA where he enjoyed playing multiple sports like Basketball and football (greater Compton pop warner), Growing up in Compton he made a lifetime of memories and friendship. it is also where he found his love for pop locking and man was, he good, alongside his older brother Pierre and Friends they battled some of the best to ever do it from Neighborhood to neighborhood. Darren never stopped dancing even while battling cancer!
Darren moved to Yuma Arizona and Phoenix with his family in the 80’s. Yuma is where he met his best friend Charlie Gates. He poured a lot of his time into his nieces and nephew as they
were all involved in multiple school sports in Yuma so you know he was happy, being the big sports fan he was.
At the age of 18 he found his love for kick boxing, He trained under his Sensei Cecil in phoenix AZ. He mentored kids at the boys & girls club, helping hand club and was a big brother too many. He had a dance group and he coached basketball on the westside of phoenix. As you can see, he loved to teach the youth as much as he loved to learn. As his nephew Patrick said Darren was a father figure, and a Superhero to us all.
Darren moved to Oceanside, CA in 1990’s where he worked for Becton & Dickinson, Sharps Disposal company and construction in San Marcos. he continued to work until his disability would not allow him to. He made so many memories in O’Side.
He spent a few years in San Diego, CA where he lived with his Mother and his Brother Pierre.Darren joined Grand street church of Christ with his family where he was baptized and gave his life to Christ.
Darren spent the rest of his time in Phoenix Arizona with his loving Family until GOD called him home.
Darren was blessed with many friends that made his life complete.
He leaves to Cherish his precious memories his sisters Patty Mouton & Renee Mouton of Arizona, Regina Kane of CA, Roberta Luna of Arizona and only Brother Pierre Hogan of Arizona, His Uncles Cornell Davis of the Philippines & Myron Davis Sr. of Arizona, his Nephews, Nieces, Great Nephews, and Great Nieces, Great great Nieces, Great great Nephews and many Cousins.
Darren was not married and had no kids of his own but as you can see, he helped raise lots of children generation after generation.
His life was a blessing,
His memory a treasure,
He is loved beyond words,
And missed beyond measure.
