David John Edwards

David was the cornerstone of his family, a man whose presence defined home. To his wife, he was an unwavering source of love, support, and true partnership. As a father, he embodied patience and pride, wholly committed to guiding and encouraging his children through every step of their lives. His family was undeniably his greatest joy. He showed his deep affection not with grand gestures, but through a steady presence, kind words, a loving heart, and an unwavering, quiet dedication that anchored them all.

He was known for his kindness, humor, generosity, and the way he made others feel welcome and valued. Whether spending time with family, helping a friend, or enjoying a nice Harley ride, David lived with quiet strength and a generous spirit.

David is survived by his loving wife Marcy Edwards, his daughters, Diane Wilson (Shawn) and LeAnn Smith (Joe); grandchildren, Alexis Johnson-Wilson, Katelyn Mastroddi (Joseph), Zade Smith, Gatlyn Smith & Evalee Smith; great grandchildren, Lakelynn Diane & Sawyer and many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply. He is preceded in death by father, Bill and his mother, Kitty.

He will be remembered always for his love, his integrity, and the lasting impact he made on those fortunate enough to know him.

A celebration of life will be held on January 10, 2026, 11am – 2pm at The Fire House Event Center located at 8307 W. Washington Street, Peoria, Arizona 85345.
