David Jack Klecka Sr.

Klecka, Jack age 66, the longtime General Manager ...of Lenny Monti’s House of Steaks in Phoenix, and Monti’s La Casa Vieja in Tempe. Owner of Red Mountain Steakhouse in Mesa passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren on October 27, 2011 from complications of Dementia. The self proclaimed #1 fan of all things Notre Dame will be most remembered for his big smile and his even bigger heart. He is survived by his wife Katherine (Monti), son, David Jr., daughters, Maria, Stella Lorenz (Mitch), Jackie Graham (Rich), grandchildren Jack, Bobby and Lola Hill and Aretta and Abby Lorenz. Brothers, Dan (Eileen), Joe and Michael (Loretta). He was born on July 22, 1945 in South Bend, Indiana son of Roy and Ida Marie Klecka. Jack was a graduate of Scottsdale High School in 1964. He was preceded in death by his parents and eldest brother Thomas. Big Jack you will be sorely missed by all those who came across your path in and out of the restaurants. Wake up the echoes! Go Irish! We love you. Funeral service will be Friday November 4, 2011 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 2121 S. Rural Road, Tempe, AZ. A celebration will follow immediately at Shalimar Country Club, 2032 E. Golf Avenue, Tempe, AZ 85282. In lieu of flowers we ask that a donation be made in the name of Jack Klecka to the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Youth Group.
