Just yesterday there were 3 little girls with pixie hair cuts giggling in the night till their Mom came in to quiet us. How could one be gone? I wish I'd known 'Nise as an adult, but I'd expect she was as vibrant and energetic as she was through her teens.

Rest in peace, Denise.  I wish I knew you better, but I'll always remember how your beautiful smile used to lift my spirits.  

[I met Denise through Macy's, and she was an acquaintance.  Denise was one of the most pleasant people there.  I always enjoyed her sense of humor.  I remember there was one day I was deep in thought and she rescued me from my grumpiness just by striking up a conversation with a sincere smile.  Denise was such a lovely person.  I am so sorry for your loss, and my prayers go out to the Family.]

I am so sorry for your loss.  I met Denise when our daughters were in the Girl Scouts together and again with the PTA at Meyer.  She was always doing her best to recruit more volunteers to help out the school.  I respected her enthusiasm and drive to better the place our childern spent so much of their time.  She will be missed.

I was very sad to hear the news of Denise's passing. I met her through a Moms prayer group. She had an amazing way of making people feel welcomed and loved, right when you'd meet her. She was a dedicated mother and a sweet friend. She will be missed by many. My prayers are with the Fillingham family.

Sad tragic news. We've known Craig & Denise for all those years, they both came and stayed here in Oxford just recently. We had a fine time too. Denise was her usual vivacious, friendly, optimistic self always a great person to be around. Our hearts go to Craig, Kendra & Kristen at such a sad time. Be strong and look after each other, we'll always be here for you.

How saddened I was to hear this news of Denise's passing. I had met her several times through a mutual friend and  one could tell right away that she was  a beautiful woman........inside and outside...and... loved by many.

My heavy heart is with the Fillinghams. I feel blessed to have spent time with Denise. She was full of kindness, laughs, and fun.  We are all better from her time with us.

My deepest sympathy is extended to Denise's family.  Denise was a co-worker and fellow Pennsylvanian.  I always appreciated her sense of humor and forthrightness.  She will be missed.

Denise was one of my co-workers at Macys and was so happy and cheerful when we had a chance to talk.  She will be remembered with fondness.

My Heartfelt condolences to Craig and the girls I am so sorry for your loss. I was privileged to not only have worked along side Denise in Boosters and Spiritline, but to call her my friend. She will be truly missed.

I'm with Yudi, I met Denise through Macy's as well... I will miss her dearly. She really knew how to make someone's day and keep spirits high. Prayers and thoughts to her family and friends.

From the moment that I met Denise, she has and always will be a bright light in my life. I will forever treasure my many memories that roll like a movie in my mind and continually bring a smile to my face whenever I think of her and I feel so Blessed to have known and called her my friend which she will remain forever! I knew Denise to be a Loving and Caring Wife to Craig, a Loving and Nurturing Mother to her two beautiful Daughters, Kendra and Kristin and a woman who cared about everyone she knew! I, like all who were Blessed to have known Denise, Loved her and we will all miss her!

I live in Illinois and haven't seen very many of our class mates since we graduated in 76. I remember Denise with her light heart and beautiful smile. Prayers for you and your family.
