

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Bruce Cadaret, of Scottsdale Arizona. He passed away on January 8th, 2024 at the age of 76 after a courageous 2 year battle with Cancer. Dennis was born on December 10th, 1947 in Wayne County Michigan, the son of William and Winifred Cadaret. Since 2001 Dennis has called Arizona home.
Dennis graduated from Plymouth High School, Plymouth MI in 1966. He went on to earn his Bachelors of Science from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan. Dennis started his career at the age of 18 when he went to work for General Motors. He spent 36 years working in many different departments and holding many different roles. He retired at the age of 53 and has been enjoying his life to the fullest ever since.
Dennis loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, camping, biking, and walking. He was passionate about serving the church and his community. Shiloh Community Church was his second home. There he served as a greeter and volunteer. Dennis also spent over 10 years volunteering at Hospice of the Valley where he helped countless individuals. Dennis was known for his ability to connect with people. There was no such thing as a stranger to Dennis, from the passenger sitting next to him on the airplane, his neighbors, or the cashier at the local store. He loved talking and meeting people.
Dennis is preceded in death by his father William Cadaret, mother Winifred Cadaret, brother Ken Cadaret and sister Mary Jane Cadaret.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Cadaret, Brother William “Bill” Cadaret, Sons Ron Cadaret, Dave Cadaret (Christina), Chad Young, Daughters, Lori Young, Jodi Young (Lisa Christian), Grandkids, Ryan Cadaret (Shivani), Christopher Cadaret, Timothy Cadaret, Sara Cadaret, Collin Moorfield, Charli Young, Walker Christian, Lauren Christian, and great granddaughter Gianna Cadaret.
The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley, as well as Shiloh Community Church and Pastors Sam and Jason. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his honor to Hospice of the Valley, or Shiloh Community Church.
Visitation will be held for family and friends at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027. Visitation hours will be Tuesday January 16th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17th at 10:00am at Shiloh Community Church, 19021 N. 32nd Street. Phoenix, AZ 85050. A graveside will occur immediately following the funeral at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
Dennis will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all that loved him.
