Dennis Lowell Nelson

Dennis was a native of Minnesota. While growing up in North Minneapolis, Dennis went to Willard Elementary, Lincoln Junior High, and North High School.

As a young kid he played hockey on a park team and basketball on a church team.

He moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1970 with his parents and two younger sisters, Denise and Dawn. Leaving behind three older sisters; Darlene, Diane and Debra.

He enjoyed playing nickel dime poker, golfing, bowling, reading, movies, a good bottle of wine or a cold beer, and spending time in Prescott at the Meyers cabin.

He worked at several restaurants in Arizona, Texas and California. Retiring as a Sous Chef from the Pointe Hilton after 35 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell and Ann Nelson; Brother-in-law Jerome Meyers; Nieces Jennifer Meyers and Monique Bleuze; and nephews Shaun and Justin Beaudin.

He leaves behind five sisters, Darlene (Harry) Berzins, Diane (Bob) Johnson, Deb (Jerome, deceased) Meyers, Denise (Gary) Beaudin and Dawn (Lyle) Anderson.

Many Nieces and Nephews, and many, many Great Nieces and Nephews.
